Gerty: seven-day local AI assistant trial for Apple-silicon Macs

The offer

Users in India with an Apple-silicon Mac running macOS 26 or later can download Gerty 3.1.1 and try every feature for seven days without an account, licence key or signup. To keep using it, buy a CHF 49 one-time licence for one person on up to three Macs, including future versions; there is no subscription and purchases have a 14-day refund window. AI runs on your Mac after model downloads, but model licences apply separately and optional web search, connectors, update checks and licence activation use the network.

Who can claim it

• Apple-silicon Mac, M1 or newer, running macOS 26 or later.
• At least 8 GB memory and 5 GB free disk space; larger models need more.
• The public download and purchase terms state no India restriction.

How to claim it

1. Open the official download page and choose Download Gerty 3.1.1.
2. Install and open the Mac app to try it for seven days without a licence key.
3. Let Gerty measure your Mac and show the model-download size, then choose and download a model package.
4. If you want to continue after the trial, buy a licence and enter its key in the app.

Good to know

Continuing after seven days requires a CHF 49 one-time licence for one person on up to three Macs. No subscription or renewal; future versions are included, with a 14-day purchase refund window.

Gerty is proprietary, not open source; downloaded open-weight models have their own licences. Hardware, electricity and internet data are your responsibility. The app says it sends no usage statistics or crash reports, but web search, enabled connectors, model downloads, updates and daily licence checks use the network. Its website keeps first-party visit counts; Stripe handles payment and Resend sends licence/update emails.
