Jio’s current AI perks include 18 months of Google AI Pro with an eligible ₹349-or-higher unlimited 5G plan; Airtel’s current design benefit is 12 months of Adobe Express Premium for eligible active customers. These are different subscriptions, not two routes to the same AI plan.
We checked the official carrier pages on 18 October 2026. The software benefit has no extra subscription charge under these offers, but your required mobile or other carrier service still costs money.
The quick comparison
| Benefit | Eligible service | Included period | Main restriction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jio Google AI Pro | Retail mobile, active unlimited 5G plan of ₹349 or above | 18 months from activation | Keep an eligible 5G plan active |
| Jio Canva Pro | Eligible retail prepaid ₹399 recharge | 12 months | Never previously paid for any Canva subscription |
| Jio Canva Pro Lite | ₹349 or eligible 2 GB/day plans above ₹349, plus selected add-ons | 12 months | Not the full Canva Pro tier |
| Airtel Adobe Express Premium | Eligible active prepaid, postpaid, Wi-Fi or DTH customer | 12 months from redemption | Claim by 28 January 2027 and remain active |
Jio Google AI Pro: for people who want Gemini access
The official Jio Gemini offer page lists retail prepaid and postpaid mobile users on an active unlimited 5G plan of ₹349 or above. It describes higher Gemini access, research tools, AI features in Google apps and 5 TB of storage. Those are the carrier page’s current listed benefits, not a promise of unlimited use.
Open MyJio, sign in, select the Google Gemini offer banner and register using your Gmail account. Jio allows one claim per eligible unique mobile number. Keep an eligible 5G plan active throughout the benefit; a single recharge does not remove that ongoing requirement.
There is a wording conflict worth noticing. The headline says “18 years and above”, while the FAQ says “above 18”. If you are exactly 18, check MyJio or ask Jio before recharging just for this benefit. We are not silently turning those two statements into the same rule.

Jio Canva: check Pro versus Pro Lite
Jio’s Canva offer page separates the ₹399 prepaid recharge’s Canva Pro entitlement from Canva Pro Lite on the ₹349 plan or eligible 2 GB/day plans above ₹349. The eligibility FAQ also mentions selected add-on plans without naming them there; check the actual offer in MyJio rather than assuming every add-on qualifies.
Eligible recharges must be made on or after 16 September 2026 and during the offer period. Users who have paid for any Canva subscription, currently or previously, are excluded. That is a different restriction from simply not having an active paid subscription today.
After an eligible recharge, use the Canva offer banner in MyJio to register and activate the named tier. Jio says to maintain an active Jio 5G plan throughout the benefit and permits one claim per eligible unique mobile number. Do not select a plan only from the large “Canva Pro” headline: the smaller eligibility text decides the tier.
The matching live Canva Pro deal covers the ₹399 route, not an assertion that every qualifying recharge includes full Pro.
Airtel Adobe Express Premium: a separate design subscription
The Airtel mobile terms list a 12-month Adobe Express Premium offer for eligible customers active on prepaid, postpaid, Wi-Fi or DTH. Prepaid users need an active pack. The redemption window runs from 29 January 2026 to 28 January 2027.
In the Airtel app, check the Manage page, open the Adobe Express Premium card, select Claim Now and sign in or register with Adobe. Use the same Adobe account afterwards. Only one redemption is allowed per eligible customer, and the free period starts from redemption.
Airtel says customers who already subscribed to Adobe Express Premium separately can redeem this offer alongside their existing subscription. Do not assume that cancels an existing paid bill; review that separate subscription before leaving it running.
The Airtel offer does not auto-renew after its free period. However, the customer must remain active with Airtel throughout the benefit. Porting out or losing the active account ends the offer.
What about Airtel Perplexity and Google One?
The same Airtel terms retain the Perplexity Pro offer, but its redemption window ended on 16 January 2026. On our check date, that is not a currently open new-claim offer. People who claimed within the window may still have an individual benefit period running; that is not the same as being able to claim it now.
Those Perplexity terms also describe payment-details requirements and paid renewal after the offer. Existing claimants should check their own expiry and renewal settings rather than treat the old free-offer headline as a permanent entitlement.
Airtel’s 30 GB Google One prepaid benefit applies to ₹319, ₹379 and ₹449 packs for the eligible pack validity. It is storage, not Google AI Pro. The same terms page also describes a separate six-month 100 GB benefit with consent to later ₹125-per-month Add to Bill charges. Do not mix either storage entry with a Gemini subscription.
The catch
“No extra cost” still rests on paid carrier service and continued eligibility. Compare the recharge you already need with the recharge an offer requires. We have not calculated an 18-month recharge total because future choices, validity periods and prices can differ.
Jio’s age wording is inconsistent, Canva’s tiers differ, and Airtel’s old Perplexity entry remains online after its redemption deadline. Read the specific offer card and its terms before changing plans. These checked carrier offers do not establish an included ChatGPT Plus subscription.
Our take
For a qualifying Jio user who wants Gemini, Google AI Pro is the relevant perk. For design work, compare the actual Canva tier with Airtel’s Adobe Express Premium rather than treating the apps as interchangeable. If your current Airtel service qualifies, check its Adobe card before buying a separate subscription. We would not switch carriers only because an expired offer still has a terms section.
Frequently asked questions
Which AI perks do Jio users get?
The official pages checked list Google AI Pro for 18 months on eligible ₹349-or-higher unlimited 5G plans and a separate 12-month Canva offer. The Canva tier depends on the eligible recharge and requires that you have never paid for Canva.
Can Airtel users claim free Perplexity Pro now?
The reviewed Airtel terms give a redemption deadline of 16 January 2026. That window has passed. Existing redemptions may still be running, but the retained terms do not establish a new claim route on 18 October 2026.
Is Airtel Google One the same as Jio Google AI Pro?
No. The 30 GB Airtel prepaid entry is a storage benefit tied to specified packs. Jio’s Google AI Pro page separately lists Gemini and other AI benefits with an eligible unlimited 5G plan.
Can I use Jio and Airtel benefits together?
Check each subscription separately under its own carrier and account rules. Having both SIMs is not a blanket entitlement, and this guide does not establish that two offers for the same app can be stacked. The described Jio Gemini and Airtel Adobe benefits are different services.
