The offer
Users in India can install the free SuperLocalMemory local core to share searchable memory across compatible AI agents on their own computer. The current v4.2.10 release and repository use AGPL-3.0-or-later; Mode A core remember and recall need no model-provider API key or cloud account. Your hardware and any optional online models, AI-agent subscriptions or hosted services are separate, and AGPL source-sharing duties apply when relevant.
Who can claim it
- Self-host on supported Apple Silicon macOS, 64-bit Windows or 64-bit Linux hardware; no India exclusion in the open-source licence.
- Current release documentation requires Python 3.12+ and Node 18+ for the npm route.
- Optional picture and document search needs 16 GB memory.
How to claim it
- Open the official installation page and follow the current repository installation instructions.
- Install the package using the documented npm, Python or isolated-tool route.
- Run slm setup and choose Mode A for local core memory.
- Connect your supported AI tool using slm connect and check the installation with slm doctor.
Good to know
The AGPL local core is free open-source software, not a timed hosted trial. Optional cloud models, hosted services, commercial licensing and your own hardware may cost separately.
Current v4.2.10 release files and licence were checked. Use current repository requirements rather than older v3.6 examples on the install page. AGPL duties include offering modified source to relevant network users. Online answer checking and web access are optional; connected AI services retain their own terms and bills.

Your vote is how a dead offer comes down: three or more "Didn't" in two days, outnumbering the "Worked" votes, and it is taken off the site.
