The offer
Download Rill 0.1.6 free for an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later, with no additional Rill subscription or API key. AI browsing, tab organization and project tasks use your own Claude Code 2.1.261+ or Codex CLI 0.144.4+ account and its existing plan, costs and limits; no free model subscription is included, and the licence has no India exclusion. History and passwords are stored on your Mac, but AI features send page or project context to your selected provider; this is an experimental proprietary beta, not an open-source browser.
Who can claim it
- Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 14 or later.
- For AI features, your own supported Claude Code or Codex account and CLI; provider availability and terms apply.
- Free licence allows use on Macs you own or control, for personal use or work; no India exclusion stated.
How to claim it
- Open the official Rill site and download the Mac disk image.
- Drag Rill to Applications.
- Follow setup to sign in to Claude Code or Codex, or use it as a browser without AI.
- Press Command-E on a page to send an agent request.
Good to know
Rill is currently free in beta with no stated end date. Your separate model-provider plan and usage limits still apply. Beta features may change or stop working.
Not open source and no hosted AI quota included. AI features send relevant page, history or project context to your provider; background grouping and summaries can be disabled. Agent permissions can expose files and signed-in websites, so review actions and keep backups. Passwords stay in macOS Keychain.

Did it work for you?
Your vote is how a dead offer comes down: three or more "Didn't" in two days, outnumbering the "Worked" votes, and it is taken off the site.
Some links pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra and never decides what is listed. Full disclosure.
